The complete system costs hundreds of dollars less than systems that only service one kind of motor!

Our new Universal Launch System is based on 12 years of building Surefire and RTLS systems, advice from actual engineers, and much feedback from our customers!

Features from our earlier systems that are in the ULS:
 

1. Waterproof gasketed enclosure with a nice fat handle, big enough for all wires and parts.
2. Beefy 30 amp relay right out at the pad, connecting the battery directly to the igniter when you hit the button.
3. Easily replaced cables to the igniter. Household extension cords plug right in for more length. Clips plug into the cable so dirty ones can be cleaned at your leisure.
4. Transistorized continuity test circuit is safe for ultra low current igniters like electric matches.
5. Modular system: buy what you need for the motors you're flying now, and when you're ready for hybrids, plug in another module instead of buying a new system.
6. Comes with 100 foot cable.

1. External battery connections. Attach whatever 12 volt battery you like. For cluster ignition and Contrail hybrids, attach two batteries and get 24 volts.
2. DIN connectors instead of telephone-type RJ11 connectors on the control cable. The connectors are soldered instead of crimped, and are a lot more robust.
3. 9v battery in the Hand Controller. The relays are now independent of the launch battery. With power in the Hand Controller, we can use up to 1000 feet of cable.
4. Removable safety interlock in the Hand Controller. You no longer have to unplug the controller for safety.
5. A test switch allows you to pulse the Fill and Dump valves at the pad, to check for loose fittings.

The ULS M-1 Base Module will fire all solid rocket motors, black powder or composite, of any size.

Plug in the ULS-M2 Valve Manifold and you are filling and firing all hybrid motors except Hypertek.

Add the ULS-M3 GOX/HV Module to fill and fire Hypertek hybrids.

We've reduced the prices! The new Base Module costs $15 less than the old RTLS Baseblock. At $110 retail, it's an outstanding value for any rocket flier, even if you never add any of the other modules.
