GO
BOX uses an LED
for the continuity circuit
We heard from customers that they sometimes had trouble hearing
the buzzer that we used to use in the GO BOX to indicate launch
readiness. So, we redesigned the system to light up an ultrabright
red LED to tell you when you are GO For Launch!
The LED is easily visible in direct sunlight. When you insert
the Safety Key, the transistorized continuity circuit tests to
make sure you have a complete circuit through your igniter. It
will NOT fire sensitive or low current igniters like electric
matches.
The GO BOX connects to any 12 volt battery with battery clamps,
or optional car cigar lighter plug. The 25-foot wire to the launch
pad connects to the GO BOX with a standard audio RCA plug.
Extension cables in 25 and 50 foot lengths are available from us
or at Radio Shack and other audio stores.

More Information about the Sport of Rocketry
 The National
Association of Rocketry was founded over 55 years ago. NAR has
taken the lead in getting rocketry legalized in places where it was
covered by obsolete fireworks laws, and is in the forefront of
the effort to keep the sport from being regulated to death. NAR writes
the competition rules and sponsors most of the rocketry competitions
in the USA. NAR members receive individual liability insurance
coverage. Best of all, you get a subscription to Sport
Rocketry Magazine. We at Pratt Hobbies are proud to be long-term
members of NAR (like, since 1964). Go to

The Tripoli
Rocketry Association is devoted to the high power end of the
sport. Through the Tripoli certification program, members can qualify

issues, and the two organizations are in harmony on their
certification and engine testing programs. Write
