Details 
The radio beacon is an FM transmitter that converts and ASCII data stream into an AX.25 packet. The transmitter can operate at 1200 baud AFSK and 9600 FSK. Power output level can be controlled from 0 watts to 1 watt. The beacon operates in the UHF band from a single 5 volt
supply. A version operating in the VHF band is also available.
