The Universal Launch System Base Module is a standalone launch control system that works with one or two external 12 volt batteries. It will fire conventional solid propellant rocket motors, single or cluster, of any size. Its relay ignition system can handle as much as 30 amps at 24 volts, more than enough for any cluster. The LED/Transistor continuity circuit is safe with low-current igniters like electric matches.

The ULS Base Module is supplied with a bulb igniter tester, 100 foot cable for the hand controller, and spare alligator clips. The hand controller requires a 9V battery. All components pack up into the watertight case for storage.

The ULS Base Module has the circuitry to control fill systems for hybrid motors. Plug in the Valve Manifold Module and a supply tank, and you have everything you need for most hybrid motors (RATT, Sky Ripper, Contrail). Add the GOX/HV Ignition Module and a fill stem, and you're firing Hypertek hybrids. All three modules together cost hundreds of dollars less than systems that only work with one kind of motor!

The Universal Launch System is the only launch system that can be used with any commercially available rocket motor, solid or hybrid.
